Textbook: William Boyce and Ricard DiPrima, Elementary Differential Equations. Wiley, 10th edition. Note: Purchase of the textbook is optional. Lecture notes and homework assignments will be posted on the class website.

Grading Policy: Homework: 25%, Short Exams: 35%, Final Exam: 40%. 

Homework: There will be four homework assignments, due at the start of class on Tuesdays. Show your work for full credit.

Short Exams: There will be a total of three short exams held in class each Tuesday (excluding the first and last weeks). The lowest short exam grade will be dropped. Short exams are closed-book and closed-notes. Calculators and other electronic devices are not allowed. Show your work for full credit.

Final Exam: There will be one final exam on the last day of class worth 40% of your grade. The final exam will be closed-book and closed-notes. Calculators and other electronic devices are not allowed. Show your work for full credit.
